Pixels
Pixels appear on bitmap images when zoomed in, pixels contain one single block colour. An image is made up thousands of pixels. Pixels are often referred to the picture element, pixels do not have a set size as they are on screen images

Resolution
Resolution is a number of pixels in a certain area, for example 1024x768 shows that there is 1024 pixels in the width and 768 pixels high. Resolution is displayed in many ways such as on CRT monitors and projects and many more they are fixed pixels. Resolution is an on screen factor.

Relationship between pixels and resolution


The relationship between pixels and resolution is very strong because they both are for screen graphical images. Also resolution is made up of many pixels, for example the resolution '1024x768' has 786432 pixels.
