Dear Readers,
I have read sometimes back that
CHO wrote a series in Thuglak
Magazine. At the start of every
chapter, he used to write some
wise words. However, he will give
the credit to “Arth Shastra”.
This introduction was liked by
many and he received lot of letters
thanking him for extracting these
wise words from Arth Shastra.
Once the series got completed, he
revealed the truth that it was
originally his views, but he named
it after the great “Arth Shastra”.
He wrote “If CHO says something
people may not accept, just
because how can “CHO” say
something like this? When Arth
Shastra says something people
readily accept it”. He exposed the
great readers’ psychology by
playing this prank.
Theni has more than 100
subscribers now. We also came to
know that several people forward
our mails to their friends and
relatives.
We wanted to estimate the serious
readers. Hence we released the
last edition (May 2006) without
revealing the password to open
the file.

Learn To Draw
This first step is important to understanding how the
hand is constructed and what the pivot points are.
Once you are comfortable with the proportions of
the hand it will be easier to draw it in different
positions. For now let's concentrate on the basic
"Spread Fingered" hand. Follow along and study
your own hand as you go.
Hands: Step 1- the oval
Draw an oval. Much like the one you see to the left.
Designate a point on the lower center line of the
oval. This is the anchor point we'll use for our
fingers.
Hands: Step 2- radials
Draw 5 lines radiating out from the anchor
point. The longest line will be the middle
finger...make it just slightly shorter than 2 oval
lengths.
Hands: Knuckle placement
The remaining finger lengths fall on an arc from the
height of the middle finger. The knuckle closest to
the tip of the finger is slightly less than 1/3 the way
down from the finger tip. The next knuckle splits the

difference between the remaining lengths to the top
of the palm oval.
The thumb has 3 knuckles as well but the
anchoring is hidden inside the palm.

Douglas Ewing stands next to the
Amorphophallus titanum, or "corpse
flower." The photo shows the plant
in 1998, when it was growing a tree-
like leaf.

The A. titanum bloomed about 3

p.m. on July 7, filling the
greenhouse with the stench of
decaying flesh. The odor is the
source of the "corpse flower" name
the plant has been given on its
native island of Sumatra in
Indonesia. The UW blooming was
only the 10th documented instance
in the United States this century,
and the first west of St. Louis.

After the A. titanum shed its leaf, it

lay dormant for months before the
tuber sprouted what would become
its flower. This photo shows the
plant in late June, about one week
before it opened. The tall spadix
grew more than 16 inches during
that week.

A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as
well as she used to and he thought she
might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure
how to approach her, he called the family
Doctor to discuss the problem.
The Doctor told him there is a simple
informal test the husband could perform
to give the Doctor a better idea about her
hearing loss.
“Here's what you do," said the Doctor,
"stand about 40 feet away from her, and
in a normal conversational speaking tone
see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet,
then 20 feet, and so on until you get a
response."
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen
cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He
says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away,
let's see what happens."
Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey,
what's for dinner?" No response. So the
husband moves to closer to the kitchen,
about 30 feet from his wife and repeats,
"Honey, what's for dinner?" Still no
response. Next he moves into the dining
room where he is about 20 feet from his
wife and asks, Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again he gets no response so; He walks up
to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away.
"Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again there is no response. So he walks
right up behind her. "Honey, what's for
dinner?" "James, for the FIFTH time I've
said, CHICKEN!"

Sermon on the Mount
This is the greatest sermon Jesus ever
preached. The Lord's prayer, the
beatitudes, and the golden rule are in this
sermon.
Where was Jesus?
Jesus delivered this sermon on a mountain
near Capernaum. Tradition ascribes the
site to an extinct volcano named Karne
Hittim.
Jesus sat while delivering the Sermon
on the Mount. Sitting connotated
authority, so rabbi's often sat while
teaching.
Divisions
The Sermon on the Mount is in the 5th,
6th, and 7th chapters of Matthew. You
can read the entire sermon here. It's
divided into 5 sections listed below:
Beatitudes - Teachings that begin with
"blessed." These were meant to comfort
suffering believers.
New laws - Contrasts the old law of Moses
with the new law of Christ. A brief
summary of Christian doctrine.
Lord's prayer - Instructions on prayer.
Jesus also teaches the proper motives for
fasting and offering gifts.
Money - Christian attitudes concerning
the use of money. Reasons to avoid worry.
Warnings - Dangers of false teachers and
hypocrisy. Jesus also presents the parable
of the wise and foolish builders.

What are the Beatitudes?
This section begins with the setting for
the sermon on the mount, followed by the
beatitudes. The word "beatitude" is
derived from the Latin "beatus," which
means blessed or happy. This designation
is appropriate because each teaching
begins with the word "blessed."

on the mountain; and after He sat down,
His disciples came to Him. He opened His

POLITICO
The 13th Tamil Nadu State Assembly Election
campaigns took place in grand opulence
where each of the parties that contested
spent millions and millions of unaccounted
money (It is time we ask where the money
came from) and let out trillions and trillions
of promises and lies. The Election results
were announced and the DMK party President
Kalaignar Karunanidhi sworn in as the Chief
Minister of Tamil Nadu for the 5th time.
One of the election promises were that TV
will be provided to people who belong to the
lower income group. On providing proof of
income, TV will be delivered at their houses.
Is this an election promise or a bribe? What is
the duty of a person holding the most
responsible position of taking care of a State?
The welfare of public interests should be
guarded. That should be the primary aim. On
the contrary that is the last thing aimed at by
any person holding a political position in
India.
Invariably all are aware of the fundamental
needs of a man – food, clothing and shelter.
Still many people suffer even for one square
meal per day. Children at some parts of India
have died of hunger. If food which is the basic
necessity for a man is not available
sufficiently, then what to speak of shelter and
clothing? How can a TV aid such people? Why
can’t these politicians give them the power
and capacity to buy a TV? Where is our nation
leading to? The money so involved in buying
TV can be given as money itself which might
feed hungry stomach for some days.
Government positions are considered to be
the most luxurious position a man can ever
hold - flexible timings, decent salary, plenty
of provisions to take leave, allowances,
bonus, no rigid work rules, and no
commanding authorities to question, pension
and what not? This is sufficient to make a
man inefficient. It is nice to watch movies
like ‘Muthalvan’ and ‘Thamizhan’. Nothing
mentioned in those movies can be
implemented by common man. The common
man should be aware of roles and
responsibilities of every person who heads a
Ministerial/Governmental position. I am a
lawyer myself and I too cannot do anything
even after fully knowing the provisions of law.

Voicing opinions are equally dangerous. More
Muthalvans and Thamizhans should be born to
rule over these unscrupulous attitudes of
politicians.
Mettupalayam Road is NH 47 road from
Coimbatore to Mettupalayam. The road is now
in such a pitiable state. It is sloppy, bumpy
uneven and totally unfit especially for 2
wheelers. Rs. 9 crores have been sanctioned
for repair of this road and the money was
sanctioned even prior to elections. Somehow
it did not take place during that period. All on
a sudden AIADMK President, the then Chief
Minister, and J. Jayalalitha planned to visit
Coimbatore for election campaign. Immediate
steps were taken to repair major part of the
road. That makes me feel that other citizens
who use the road extensively are not
considered as human beings whereas a person
holding a Ministerial position who visits a
particular place only on occasions, is
considered to be a valuable person! It should
be the other way – we the sincere tax payers
should get the most benefits from the
government.
“The road work would start shortly” said our
Mayor-In-Charge fully knowing that this is the
onset of South West Monsoon which will not
let them carry on their work! Finally the 9
crores sanctioned will slowly be forgotten by
us and the money will ultimately reach the
pockets of these filthy politicians.
Apart from paying tax, we have no other
dealings with the government. The common
man is in no way benefited by the
government. The officials are also filthy
people. A dictator rule should take over and
bring about peace. Democracy is not
democracy in its real sense. In the name of
democracy hypocrisy is taking place.
Democracy has lost its charm as far as India is
concerned.
Here is a simple example to show the
insincere attitude of government employees
towards public. I approached the telephone
department to apply for a BSNL mobile
connection. It was very hard for me to digest
the way they treat people. I was told that a
senior citizen in whose name a BSNL landline
connection is available needs to pay only
Rs.100/- as rent for a mobile connection .
Since my Mother is a senior citizen and the
landline phone is in her name, I went to apply

for a BSNL mobile connection. Since it was
lunch time between 1 and 2 the door was
closed and a queue was formed outside the
door. I happened to be the 6th person in the
line and there were more than 20 people
behind me. The door was supposed to open at
2. Since nobody opened the door even at
2.15, one of the persons standing in the
queue opened it himself and all of us rushed
in to be attended. To our dismay, we saw that
there was only one person who was an
attender and he was directing each one of us
to stand in queue based on our respective
needs. We were told that the concerned
person would come to attend to us.
We were all waiting for them. People
crowded there were commenting over the
insincerity of these officers and wish they had
such positions too! One of the middle aged
men who were waiting there received a call
from his office and from his tone we could
infer that he was questioned for not being in
his seat. Three persons finally walked in
lethargically and sat in their respective seats.
It should be noted that all the three men
were chewing betel leaves at working hours.
It was my turn and he looked at my
application and asked me which plan I
require. I said the one meant for senior
citizens i.e., Rs. 100/- rent plan. He said that
all citizens are treated equally by them and
hence there is no such plan. I asked him to
get it checked since I knew that my uncle has
opted for this plan. He shouted at me and
turned towards his colleague and counter
checked with him that if there is any plan as I
had mentioned. His colleague told that that
plan is no longer available.
The man who attended to me turned to me
and asked “now what do you want?” I said
that I will go in for a plan with minimum rent
since my usage is minimal. I had asked for an
ISD connection. He asked if we have any
deposit. I said that I need to check it out with
them since I do not know how much initial
deposit we had paid when we got our
connection.
He ruthlessly asked me to get out of the room
and go to room no.219 and get the deposit
amount written by the authority concerned in
that room. I went to 219 and finally came to
know that I was supposed to go to 215 and not

to 219. After a long search the lady told me
that there is no deposit against my Mother’s
name for our landline number which we have
been using for the past 15 years! Her
colleague asked her to send me to AO for the
issue. I went to the AO who was continuously
signing some papers not bothering to know
the purpose of my visit. In between when I
interrupted, he stopped me and called to the
peon and asked him to bring some files.
Finally after 10 minutes, he turned to me and
said that their department was computerized
only after 1998 and any records of connection
obtained before that period is deemed to
have been lost! How can he say that? He
asked me to go home and bring the deposit
receipt which we paid 15 years back! This is
the condition of a customer who visits a
government office.
If an ordinary Govt employee pays least
attention to his job, then what to say of a
politician? Life for a politician is a bed of
roses. They can come out of criminal cases
pending against them. A trial means nothing
to them. Money and power only speak. A
common man will remain a common man till
his last breath.
An ordinary man even with various
commitments pays his taxes sincerely without
cheating the government. He dies as an
ordinary man. Whereas the tax evaders who
are mostly politicians have no commitments
in life, yet enjoy a heavenly life disregarding
laws and dies as a noble man and is given a
farewell with all respect by govt. authorities.

Vishnu Puranam
Thus, the gods came to drink ambrosia. When
at last, the demons realised that they had
been cheated they immediately attacked the
gods. But since the gods had regained their
strength, they soon defeated the demons
without much ado. Afterwards, the gods
prayed Lord Vishnu and returned to heaven to
rule it. The world also regained its verdancy.
After regaining his splendour, comforts and
luxuries of the heaven, Indra prayed goddess
Lakshmi with devotion and respect.
Pleased by the prayers of Indra, Lakshmi
asked him to seek a boon. Indra said- "O
goddess! If you are pleased with me, kindly
bless me with a boon that first you will never
desert this world and also that you will never
desert those who worship you with this
prayer." Lakshmi granted these boons.
Thus, Lakshmi had appeared as the daughter
of Bhrigu and his wife Khyaati. Then second
time, she emerged from beneath the sea
during its churning. Thus, whenever Lord
Vishnu takes an incarnation, Lakshmi
accompanies Him. When God appears in
divine form, she too takes a divine
appearance. When God appears in human
form, Lakshmi appears in human form also.
Dhruv’s Migration to the Forest
Swayambhu Manu had two sons- Priyavrata
and Utaanpaad. Utaanpaad had two wives-
Suruchi and Suniti. Suruchi had a son- Uttam
while Suniti had also a son- Dhruv. King
Utaanpaad loved Suruchi more than he loved
Suniti.
One day the king was sitting on the throne.
Prince Uttam was playing in his lap.
Meanwhile Dhruv also arrived there and
insisted to play in the lap of his father. At his
insistence, queen Suruchi ridiculed that as he
was not born to her he had no right to the
king’s love, … "so your insistence is useless.
Though you are also a son of this king but this
throne belongs to my son. Don’t you know
that you have been born to Suniti."
Getting angry over his stepmother’s ridicules,
Dhruv went to his mother. Suniti consoled her

son and enquired about the reason for his
anger. Dhruv narrated the whole thing to his
mother. Suniti too got perplexed and said: "O
son! Suniti speaks the truth but you don’t
worry for no one can do away the virtues of
your deeds that you performed in your
previous birth. Hence you should not feel
sorry over such petty things. If you feel really
sorry by the words of your stepmother why
don’t you try to gather virtues? Why don’t you
try to be a gentle and altruistic person?"
Thus consoled by mother Dhruv said- "Mother!
Since now onwards, I will do every such thing
so that I may attain the most respected
position in the world. I am no longer desirous
of getting a position granted by others. I will
achieve the same position as my father has."
Saying this Dhruv left the palace and the town
and reached a dense forest.
Seven Munishwars (mendicants) were already
present in the forest. Dhruv greeted them all
and said very politely- "O great sages! I am
the prince Dhruv. King Utaanpaad is my father
and his younger queen Suniti is my mother. I
have arrived here out of desperation." The
sages said- "O prince! You are just a small
boy. You have no reason to be worried
because your father is still alive and neither
you have any disease. What then caused you
such a severe desperation?"
Dhruv narrated the whole events and also that
how his stepmother Suruchi ridiculed about
his inferior position in the palace. The sages
said- "O prince! Kindly tell us whatever you
have decided to do to change your destiny
and also tell us if we can help you in any
way."
Dhruv said-"O sages! I neither long for wealth
or for the kingdom. I simply long to enjoy
such a position that nobody have ever
enjoyed earlier. Kindly help me and guide me
what I should do to attain such a position."
Marichi said-"O prince! Nobody can attain
such an unparalleled position without the
worship of Govind (an epithet of Lord Vishnu),
so you also worship that eternal Supreme
Being." Atri said- "He who is far above the

tangible can only satisfy Him and bring you
that supreme position."
Angira said-"Go and worship Govind who holds
the entire universe within Him."
Pulastya said-"Even the wretched people
attain the rare salvation worshipping Hari."
Pulaha said-"Go and worship that Vishnu
worshipping whom even Indra attained the
position of the gods’ king."
Kratu said- "Go and worship Janardana who is
supreme, who is deity of the Yagyas and
Yagya Himself."
Vashishta said-"O son! You will attain
whatever you wish by worshipping Lord
Vishnu."
Dhruv said - "O sages! At my prayers all of you
told me about whom I should worship. Now
kindly tell me what should I do to please the
Lord."
The sages said- "It is imperative for a person,
who wishes to worship Lord Vishnu that first
of all, he should expel all other menial
thoughts from his mind and replace them with
the contemplation Lord alone. O prince! Thus
concentrate on that omnipotent eternal Lord
with the mantra - ‘OM NAMO BHAGWATE
VAASUDEVAAY’ . Your grandfather
Swayambhu Manu had himself recited this
mantra during the previous age and had
received the perfection of his desire from the
Lord. So you too go and recite the same
mantra in order to please Lord Vishnu."
Dhruv Pleases God with his Penance
The prince Dhruv greeted the sages and
continued on his journey. At last, he reached
a beautiful forest Madhuvan on the bank of
the river Yamuna. It was the same forest,
which was later occupied by a demon Madhu.
Shatrughana, the youngest brother of Lord
Rama had killed the demon Lavan, the son of
Madhu in the same forest and founded the
township of Mathura. In the same forest,

prince Dhruv decided to carry out his
penance. As per the dictate of the sages, he
began to recite the mantra continuously.
Very soon, the earth began to move because
of Dhruv’s severe penance. Even the seat of
Indra could not remain stable. A stampede
resulted among the gods. The gods then
hatched a conspiracy to disturb the penance.
According to the plan an illusionary image of
Suniti, Dhruv’s mother appeared before him
and pleaded - "O son! Please stop this severe
penance that is bound to decay your body. I
got you after great desires and worship. It is
not proper for you to take your stepmother’s
words so seriously and desert your real
mother. You are my only support. You are
only four or five years old. Presently you
should pay more attention to your plays and
studies. Why are you observing such a severe
penance then? O son! If you don’t give up
your penance right now I will give my life."
But Dhruv was so much sunk in the
contemplation of Lord Vishnu that he did not
hear the wailing of his mother."
His mother then said- "Run, O son! Run away
to save your life. Look! Formidable demons
are approaching. They are carrying lethal
weapons." Suddenly that illusionary image
blew out intense fire from her mouth. That
fire took appearance of many dreadful
monsters, who were shouting loudly like ‘kill
him’, ‘eat him’. Those monsters bore the
heads of lion, camel, crocodile etc. and
appeared extremely formidable. The
monsters were roaring loudly.
But Dhruv’s mind was deeply in
contemplation. He neither saw the monsters
or heard the noises made by them. Thus,
seeing their all attempts failed. The gods
decided to take refuge at Lord Vishnu. There
they said- "O Lord! We have come to you
perplexed by the severe penance of Dhruv the
son of Utaanpaad. His penance is increasing
like a waxing Moon. We are not sure if he
desires for the position of Indra, Surya,
Kuber, Varun or any other deity. But kindly
remove our fears."

Assuring the gods, the Lord said- "That boy
has no desire for attaining the position of any
deity. But I will definitely grant him whatever
he desires. But all of you need not worry."
The gods greeted the Lord and returned.
Ultimately pleased by the severe penance of
Dhruv, Lord Vishnu appeared before him in his
formal four-armed form and said- "Dhruv! May
it all be well for you. I am very much pleased
with you." Hearing these words Dhruv opened
his eyes and to his amazement found Lord
Vishnu standing before him. For a moment he
did not believe his eyes. Standing before him
was the same Lord Vishnu whom he used to
see in contemplation. For a moment, Dhruv
forgot how to pray God. He then took refuge
of God and said- "O Lord! If you are pleased
with me, kindly bless me with power to pray
you. My mind is exhilarated with devotion for
you. It wishes to pray you." Hearing these
words the Lord touched Dhruv with His conch
and as soon as it happened, an unbinding
stream of devotional prayer sprang from
Dhruv’s mouth.

Moon, the planets, constellations, Saptarishis
and all the gods who fly about in divine
aircraft. Besides it, you will stay there for a
complete Kalpa whereas even the gods do not
stay in their position more than a single
Manvantara. Your mother Suniti too will come
to stay with you as a bright star for the same
period of time. There she will stay on an
aircraft. People will see you with faith for you
will show them the right direction."
Thus receiving a boon from Lord Vishnu,
Dhruv occupied a fixed position in the
northern sky. Even the sage like Shukracharya
praises Dhruv that how fortunate he is.... that
even Saptarishis go around him? That pivotal
position of Dhruv would continue even in the
ages to come.

At the completion of the prayer Lord Vishnu

said- "O son! Your penance succeeds with my
sight but my presenting a sight should also not
go waste. So seek a boon of your desire."
Dhruv said- "O Lord! Nothing is hidden from
your divine sight. I started this severe
penance out of desperation caused by the
harsh words of my stepmother. She had
ridiculed my insistence of playing in my
father’s lap saying that as I was not born to
her, I had no right to the king’s love. Hence,
O Lord! I wish to attain such a position that
could be the base of the entire universe."

Lord said- "O son! You were born in a Brahmin

family in your previous birth. Then you had
pleased me by your abidance to the religion.
You were also a friend of a prince and wished
to enjoy the same royal luxuries that your
friend was enjoying. You had in fact wished to

be a prince. Hence O son! You are born as a
prince in this birth. It is rare to get a place in
the lineage of Swayambhu Manu. But this
honour has no value for a devotee like you. O
son! I will definitely accord you the position
that is excellent among all the three worlds.
In future you will be the base of all the
planets and all the constellations. I grant you

Every individual has the natural and
inherent power to think what he wants to
think, but it requires far more effort to do
so than it does to think the thoughts
which are suggested by appearances.
To think according to appearances is easy;
to think truth regardless of appearances is
laborious and requires the expenditure of
more power than any other work we are
called upon to perform.
There is no labor from which most people
shrink as they do from that of sustained
and consecutive thought.
It is the hardest work in the world. This is
especially true when truth is contrary to
appearances.
Every appearance in the visible world
tends to produce a corresponding form in
the mind which observes it, and this can
only be prevented by holding the thought
of the TRUTH.

To look upon the appearances of poverty
will produce corresponding forms in your
own mind, unless you hold to the truth
that there is no poverty; there is only
abundance.
To think health when surrounded by the
appearances of disease or to think riches
when in the midst of the appearances of
poverty requires power, but whoever
acquires this power becomes a MASTER
MIND. That person can conquer fate and
can have what he wants.
This power can only be acquired by
getting hold of the basic fact which is
behind all appearances, and that fact is
that there is one thinking substance from
which and by which all things are made.
Then we must grasp the truth that every
thought held in this substance becomes a
form, and that man can so impress his
thoughts upon it as to cause them to take
form and become visible things.
When we realize this we lose all doubt
and fear, for we know that we can create
what we want to create, we can get what
we want to have, and can become what
we want to be. As a first step toward
getting rich, you must believe the three
fundamental statements given previously
in this chapter, and in order to emphasize
them, I repeat them here:
There is a thinking stuff from which all
things are made, and which, in its
original state, permeates, penetrates,
and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought in this substance produces the
thing that is imaged by the thought.
A person can form things in his thought,
and, by impressing his thought upon
formless substance, can cause the thing
he thinks about to be created.
You must lay aside all other concepts of
the universe, and you must dwell upon
this until it is fixed in your mind and has
become your habitual thought. Read these
statements over and over again. Fix every

word upon your memory and meditate condition, bought in May 2004.

Creativity at Loss
I still remember the day when we got our first
television box. It was a different experience.
A 12-inch black and white television box, with
a huge towering antenna, we often use to
rotate to get clear signals. One odd program
for children and rest some stuff which we
couldn’t understand or follow during those
days. Parents didn’t stop us from watching
television. On the contrary they found it as a
tool to keep us home. Yes, they were tired of
seeing us playing on the streets, coming home
with bruises and cuts. Our clothes needed a
change after every such street game
adventure as we used to come home soaked
in sweat. Radio never needed this much
attention as what a television demanded. You
can switch on the radio and keep doing your
work. But television was a crowd puller. A
fascination-turned-pain before we realized. It
got into our drawing room and slowly started
controlling our thoughts and minds.
Unknown people started entering our home to
watch programs that was aired only between
6.00 pm and 10.00 pm. People used to gate-
crash to watch poll results, movies or Cricket
scores. My mother enjoyed the recognition
she got among the group as first television
owner. After the initial hospitality my mother
realized that it’s going to be a Herculean task
to extend the hospitality almost on a daily
basis. But it was fine. We started having more
unknown guests through the television box
itself. People were airing their views, dramas,
songs, movies and debates.
With Internet, paging, mobile and thousands
of television channels, we, the public face a
challenge. What to believe and what not to.
What to follow and what not to. While
Internet an information technology innovation
holds over million pages of information, often
we find facts are distorted, misrepresented or
truth totally blacked-out. For anything there
are hundreds of views. Even scientific facts
are denied, questioned or rejected
altogether. Often the website reflects the

The younger generation spends time on books
at schools, televisions and computers at
home, hence giving birth to new kind of
species – the couch potatoes. Reading books,
watching television and sitting on computers
for hours together negate any scope of
physical exercises, handicraft, arts and
literature.
Information availability is effortless
nowadays, “click of a mouse-button” as they
say. No need to discuss with elders and
learned men, no peer discussion, no debate
and no research by reading several books
from the library. In fact, if you seek any
information from your friends, please do not
be surprised to hear back a standard answer –
“Search on the Internet”. But what is the
accuracy of such easily available information.
Is the right amount of information with
accuracy is reaching our children?
Creativity and Innovation that existed among
the previous generations are scarcely found in
the present generation. We should not forget
the growth in information technology,
communications, space; aviation and
automation are the fruits of man’s creativity
and innovation. The desire to discover, the
fire to invent and curiosity to share the
success have made us to see the 21st century
of the world.
We must not let this creative fuel to run-out,
particularly from our children. Schools,
Colleges and Universities need to develop
curriculum that includes physical exercises,
outdoor games, drawing, painting, carpentry,
pottery and other handicraft courses. Parents
need to spend more time with their children
and help them to balance between television,
computers and other activities.
In summary, the older generation has a
challenging task to pass on not only its
technology and inventions, but also the
phenomenon behind these inventions – The
Creative Thinking.
