    What Were Learning


    Reading: We will be reading The Horned Toad Prince, a modern day fairy tale. Spelling: Add -s to words ending in a vowel and y and to most words: monkeys, friends. Change y to i and add -es to words ending in a consonant and y: supplies. Add -es to words ending in sh, ch, s, ss, x: taxes.

    The Colonial Camp was a great success! The children learned so much and it was a wonderful experience!

    Social Studies: We will be finishing up The Three Regions and moving on to The First Inhabitants of North Carolina

    We will be collecting items to send to needy children in Afghanistan. Please send your donations to support this great project!
