Matter is everything which has mass, occupies, space, and is convertible to energy. Element is a single matter which cannot be decomposed anymore into another matters by ordinary chemical reaction. All the element can be grouped in two groups they are : 1. Single element, examples Carbon, Helium, Cuprum stc. 2. Molecule element, examples Hydrogen, Oxygen, Sulfur, stc.

Compound is a single matters which is composed by several elements through chemical reaction with constant mass ratio. Mixture is the combination of two different matters or more and each matter still has its original properties. Solution is a homogeneous mixture.
