Under current Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulation, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), has taken the position that our product PROMINE ULTRA is acceptable as a disinfectant of surface in food industries and other place where necessary to assurance safety area. The principal ingredient in PROMINE ULTRA has support by FDA in the document 21 CFR 178.1010, 177.1632, 177.2600, 176.210 and 175.105 PART 178.1010 -- INDIRECT FOOD ADDITIVES: ADJUVANTS, PRODUCTION AIDS, AND SANITIZERS Subpart B--Substances Utilized To Control the Growth of Microorganisms Sanitizing solutions may be safely used on food-processing equipment and utensils, and on other food-contact articles as specified in this section, within the following prescribed conditions: (20) An aqueous solution containingortho- phenylphenol,ortho- benzyl-para- chlorophenol, para-tertiaryamylphenol, sodium-alpha- alkyl(C12-C15)-omega- hydroxypoly (oxyethylene) sulfate with the poly(oxyethylene) content averaging one mole, potassium salts of coconut oil fatty acids, and isopropyl alcohol or hexylene glycol. Sec. 177.1632 Poly (phenyleneterephthalamide) resins. Poly(phenyleneterephthalamide) resins identified in paragraph (a) of this section may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for repeated contact with food. (2) Optional finish components, total weight not to exceed 1 percent by weight of the base polymer, as follows: o-Phenylphenol (CAS Reg. No. 90- For use as a fungicide for finish coating materials. Sec. 175.105 Adhesives. The use of this or any product is always at the discretion of the on-site USDA inspector.
