Formal letters: An application Dear Sir or Madam, I saw your advertisement in a school magazine and I would like to apply

for a grant to study English in one of your school this summer. I would like to study in a London school because there I have some close friends and they could help me with the accommodation. Furthermore, study English in one of the UK centre could help me to improve my fluency in speaking. Also, I am interested in meeting speakers in English from other countries, to learn from them and to make new friends. I would be grateful if you could put me in a class where I could have some help with idiomatic expressions because it was a problem for me and I couldnt fix it. Moreover, this could help me to sound more like a native speaker and I could integrate better in society. Beside this, this grant would be useful to me because I am interested in learning about British culture and the British way of life. I hope you will consider my application.
