1. Add a new system queue

To add a new system queue, we use the aplication nxplotadmin.exe From Start programs Nx > Nx tools Command promt

Using the Printer Administrator, we can define our own queue or use one of the defined queues

How to define our queue?

Choose a printer model Add, to create our own queue

Configure the parameters like:


. Sheet size . Resolution . Color / Monochrome

Once our printer model is defined, we should define our system queue.

Release to plotter

Choose the defined system queue

Choose the Output Options: . Number of Copies

. Release to Printer / to File / Both

Print Setup , we configure several settings, like: - Sheet size, if our system queue has defined only one size, we can choose only one value - Orientation - Color - Units of Measurement - Resolution

Print Layout , we can define:


. Sheet orientation . Alignment . Scale

Before to release the file to the plotter, we can preview out work using the option cgm viewer

Before to configure the width in our plotter system, we should review our default options: File utilities Customer defaults

We can choose the file *.wdf (width definition file), that we have saved from the plot options
