Does the New Israel Fund (NIF) support " Sheikh Jarrah
Solidarity" which is cooperating with a convicted serial rapist?
Yassin El Rifai is an Arab that holds a minor share of a plot of land
inside the zone of the town of Anantot. This plot is not approved
for building. The residents of Anatot have complained to the
police about a series of offences by El Rifai: Child molesting,
trespassing, theft, burning fields and more.
Yassin El Rifai is a convicted rapist who spent 17 years in Jail for
serial rape and molesting. A quote from his sentencing: "..the
circumstances of this case are extraordinary in their brutality
and severitythe accused is irremediable in regards to repeated
sex offenses, including rape..
During Rosh Hashana, El-Rifai, the convicted rapist, came to
Anatot, with a group of Sheikh Jarrah Solidarity activists.
They acted violently and harassed residents of Anatot. The
residents responded in self defense.
The New Israel Fund (NIF) supports Sheikh Jarrah
Solidarity and in Solidarity's website it funnels
contributions through NIF's bank accounts in the US.

New Israel Fund must answer these questions:
1. Did it know that Solidarity is assisting a convicted serial rapist who was sentenced 17
years in prison?
2. Why does the NIF think this sort of criminal should be allowed to enter an Israeli town?
3. If the NIF wasn't aware of this, will it now cease supporting Sheikh Jarrah Solidarity?
