The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts wishes to recruit Management Trainees in Sales and Marketing as well as in Revenue

Management. Those recruited would go through a detailed training program as follows1. Extensive Classroom Training in Mumbai involving familiarization (induction) with the Hotel Group, the various Departments, Public speaking and Grooming Sessions. 2. Operational Training in various departments of the hotels throughout India. 3. Shadow Sales Calling Unit & Regional Offices. 4. Basic Selling Skills program. The MT program lasts for 12 months, after which they would be a probation period of 6 months before confirmation. They would then be absorbed as Sales Account Managers in Unit Sales, Regional Sales or a Corporate Marketing support function based on vacancies and aptitude and be posted in any city/location where the company has a hotel or a regional office. Consideration to a location request may be given to those who hail from a particular city while the need of the organization will be given preference. Candidates who excel can find themselves promoted to Senior Sales Account Managers after working for 12 months as Sales Account managers and further as Associate Head of Sales after a further 24 months depending on vacancies. The position thereafter grows to a Head of Sales and thereafter to a Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) for a Unit (Hotel) or a Region. Star Candidates have grown into this level of responsibility with 7 years of completing the program. This position reports into Heads of Verticals (GM level position) at the Corporate Office. The Revenue Management Trainees will get absorbed as Assistant Manager Revenue Management and be located in various units. Their growth will in their area of Revenue Management itself, and this role, too, has the ability to grow into DOSM of a hotel if the candidate shows an aptitude to Sales and Marketing as well.
