my country is the sixth most populous in the world and is the
second most populous country with the Muslim majority and its
territory was the part of pre-partition British India. Pakistan was
formed on 14th August 1947. Pakistan covers the area of about
3,10,403 (Three Millions Ten Thousand Four Hundred Three)
sq.miles. Approximately the combine land area of France and
Untied Kingdom. It is located in the south Asia. It has
approximately 660 miles coast line along the Arabian sea in the
south and bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west and India
in the East And China in the Far North East. Pakistan consists of
four major parts called provinces that are Sindth, Punjab,
Balochistan and North West Frontier Province. Pakistan is rapidly
developing country and its economic growth rate was better than
the global average during the subsequent for decades but wrong
polices let to a slow down in the late 1990. Recently wide ranging
economic reforms have resulted an a stronger economic outlook.
Our currency is Rupees and 60 Rupees is equal to one U.S dollar.

The national dress of our country is salwar kameez and men use to
wear light color and women wears bright colors. In cities Western
dress is aso popular among the youth and business sector. Pakistani
Music ranges from folk music and tradition style such as Qawwai
and ghazal. Pop music is one of the category which rising very fast
and is very popular In youngster. The main festival of our country
is Eid-ul-fitar and Eid-ul-azha. The National game of Pakistan is
Hockey Although Squash and cricket are also very popolar. The
National Cricket team won the Cricket World Cup in 1992 and
runner up in 1999 and co hosted the games twice in 1987 and 1996.
Pakistan is also set to co-host 2011 cricket world.
