This is our opportunity to celebrate the individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others. In keeping with the Heroes tradition, its up to the public to nominate and vote for the community heroes they feel embody the spirit of the award. This year, the public will establish twenty semifinalists. Ten of the semifinalists will be professionals who earn a living from their socially conscious work. The other ten semifinalists will be volunteers who dont earn an income from the services they offer to their community.
