A Hand-Built Earthen Hobbit Home

This is a handmade home of low cost and low-tech and the most important thing is that it has low-impact construction, because it will be build using local materials.

The House Indoors

It has a roomy living-room with an ample window which lets the house receive the sunlight. As a result, it isnt necessary to use electric light during the day. The heat is provided via a little central woodburning stove. The bedroom is located in a platform which sits in the middle of the house.

The House Outdoors

It has roof-collected water to help the home exist off the grid, while solar panels supply sufficient energy for living. It also has a wide garden and a playground for children to enjoy fresh air and to be in contact with nature.

This tipe of house could be build near a forest area. First of all, because it is carved into a hillside and constructed from naturally-shaped walls and roofs. And secondly, because it was designed for nature lovers that are looking for the peace that it cannot be found in the city.

We choose this house because it is environmentally-friendly and besides we think that it is a perfect place for a family to live in.
In addition, the house is warm, confortable and lovely. It is a different proposal from conventional houses that we are used to.
