Encina Wastewater Authority: Compressed Air and Gas Line Rehabilitation

Location: Carlsbad, California Situation:
Copper pipes were accidentally installed as for the Encina Wastewater Authoritys water treatment lab. These gas and compressed air lines are used for metal analysis, so the pipes can not be made of metal. Since the lab had just been built, the customer did not want a destructive and disruptive re-pipe.

Solution:

Nu Flows in-place pipe retrofit technology provided the ideal solution for the customer. Our technicians used existing access points to apply our in-place epoxy coating to the 1/2"wide compressed air and argon gas lines. This successfully prevents copper contamination for the lab.
