Sacred Heart of Jesus and Rizal

On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of the great alumnus of our University, this devotion to the Heart of Jesus comes timely. At a young age, he carved a statue of the Sacred Heart. This same image was believed to be given to him before he was executed. He kissed it and held it close to his heart before he was brought to Bagumbayan.

What can we do?

Because this devotion is closely associated with the St. Claude and the Jesuits have long cherished and promoted this devotion, we can renew this devotion and deepen it as early as now. More than anything else, this love for the love of God can be a profound understanding of who we are as children of a loving Father.
