In completing our project on Cost Benefit Analysis and Management of Lift Irrigation
and Water Harvesting Structures at Seva Mandir we have incurred indebtedness of a
number of persons and would be failing in our duty if we do not acknowledge their
contribution.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Neelima Khetan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Seva Mandir and Mr. Hemraj Bhati, General Secretary, Seva Mandir for providing an
opportunity to work with Seva Mandir for two months as volunteers. We also thank Prof.
Jayant Negi, Organizational Traineeship Segment Coordinator, IRMA for providing us
this opportunity. We are extremely grateful to our Reporting Officer Mr. Shailendra
Tiwari, Coordinator Agriculture, Natural Resource Department (NRD) Unit and Dr. H. S.
Shylendra, our faculty guide, for his continuous guidance and support to us at various
stages of the project.

We are also grateful to Mr. S.N. Bhise, Unit Incharge NRD Unit, Mr. Arun Maheshwari,
Coordinator Watershed, for their guidance form time to time.

Our project would not have been successful without the crucial support provided by the
NRD teams at Jhadol and Kherwara blocks and the entire team of Zonal level workers at
Ogna and Kalyanpur zones.

We are grateful to the villagers of Ranpur, Amarpura and Devpur for helping us to collect
all the information required for the project and providing valuable insights for the project.
