Red Blood Cell

Firstly I collect oxygen from the lungs; I then pass through the pulmonary vein and into the left atrium. I then wait for the left atrium to fill up with blood with the bicuspid valve closed. Once full the top half of the heart will contract and the bicuspid valve will open, I will then fall into the left ventricle with rest of the blood and the bicuspid valve will close straight away. When the left ventricle is full the bottom half of the heart will contract allowing the semi lunar valve to open allowing me and the rest of the blood to travel up the aorta, once the left ventricle is empty the semi lunar valve will close to stop back flow. I will then travel from the aorta to a different part of the body giving that specific muscle my oxygen, this means that I am now deoxygenated and give out carbon dioxide for me to go back to the heart. I then travel back up the vena cava and into the right atrium with the other deoxygenated blood cells with the tricuspid valve closed, then the top half of the heart will contract allowing the tricuspid valve to open and let me and the rest of the deoxygenated blood cells into the right ventricle, once the right atrium is empty, the tricuspid valve will close straight away. Once the right ventricle is full the bottom half of the heart will contract allowing the right semi lunar valve to open allowing me and the rest of the blood cells to travel up the pulmonary artery, once the pulmonary artery is full the right semi lunar valve will close to prevent back flow. Once I am in the pulmonary artery, I will travel to the lungs and give off my carbon dioxide which humans will then breathe out. I will then collect oxygen from the lungs which the human has breathed in and begin my cycle again with the heart and body.
