The concepts of sample and population both wanted to find a solution to their problem. Population is the collection of all objects and the sample is a subset of the population. A sample will be a small group of people tested that will be representative of the rest of the population and population is a statistical study. The concepts of a statistic and a parameter both deal with a numerical value summarizing. A parameter is the true value and statistic is just estimate or samples of the data. Parameter is collecting the data from the sample. Statistic is based on the sample, and average time is calculated. The four-measurement scale consists of nominal, ordinal, interval and ration scales. Nominal scale it used to categorize by gender, race, hair color or eye color. Ordinal scale is used to define ranks, scales and grades. Interval scale would show the temperatures or even a historical time. To get the right answer we must subtraction and addition exclusively required. It consists of orders and distances. Ration scale define a certain time to complete a task such as weight and distance. In order to find the exact answer we should add, subtract and divide. Qualitative variable is the same as nominal and ordinal variable. Quantitative variable is also the same as the interval and ration scale variable. Discrete and continuous are also variables, discrete variable is countable. One example of this would be broken eggs 1, 2, 3, as well as units such as 4, 7.5. A continuous variable is uncountable. For example, unit 7.75 is not possible because .75 do not exist if we talk about whole units. Experiment design and data collection is a good means of research where the data is reliable. Through this we can obtain mathematically and scientifically sound methods. The standards of the scientific method consist a clear definition our purpose. It produces a detailed explanation of the research process such as the report limitations and it also justifies our conclusion and provides the raw data if it is reasonable.
