Complainant- Umesh Patnaik. Opposite Party- L.P.G Gas Dealer.

Case Summary.
Mr. Umesh Patnaik was a L.P.G. gas consumer.

He had regular grievances regarding their services. He never received the cylinder on time. It always took 2-3 weeks more time to get a well-advanced booked cylinder too. Though he tried to convey this grievance of his to the company, no one took responsibility of it.

Once he found out that the dealer had

mischievously sold his consumer number to someone else.


He filed a complaint against the dealer and the company for deficiency in service and fraudulent practices.

Judgment
Mr.Umesh received a new gas connection from the

Chairman of the company, Hindustan Petroleum Ltd.


He also received a certain amount as compensation. Action was taken against the dealer.
