    1) find out which offline backup to restore

    go to db02:
    all, offline,util 03.09.2007 18:42:40 03.09.2007 19:51:23 0001
    bdwbmpum.aff

    2) shutdown sap

    3) delete all contents in sapdata

    rm -r /oracle/ecp/sapdata1/*

    4) restore all datafiles

    brrestore -m all -b bdwbmpum.aff

    5) restore control file

    brrestore -m 0 -b bdwbmpum.aff

    6) restore online redo log

    brrestore -m 01-012 -b bdvvrhzd.aff

    7) start oracle

    sqlplus /nolog
    conn as sysdba
    startup

    8) startsap
