MISSION STATEMENT

Natural history is the scienti c research of plants or animals, leaning more towards observational rather than experimental methods of study, and encompasses more research published in magazines than in academic journals. Grouped among the natural sciences, natural history is the systematic study of any category of natural objects or organisms. Natural History Museums, may be more serious than the zoos and make young people feel a little bit afraid of them and do not want to visit them. But in fact they contain plenty of interesting information, such as a variety of beautiful fossils. When they have look them and read them carefully they will nd it is very interesting.I think the website should keep the acdemic information but highlight the fun and reduce the feeling of serious and academic to attract the audience on the Internet to go to the real natrural history museum. We can use some animation or interaction design to achieve this goal.
