The ISO 22000 international standard specifies the requirements for a food safety management system that involves

the following elements: interactive communication system management prerequisite programs HACCP principles So ISO 22K is a bigger umbrella of which HACCP is one component.There are seven standards out of which 4 to 7 are important which are mentioned below. Food Safety System Requirements (Clause 4)- Deals with documentation Food Safety Management Requiremnets (Clause 5)- Deals with management committment & establishing communication Food Safety Resource Requirements (Clause 6)- Deals with human resources & infrastructure Food Safety Realization Requirement (Clause 7)- Deals with PRPs & HACCP Food Safety Confirmation Requirement (Clause 8)- Deals with Validation & verification Clause 7 (specifically 7.6 )deals with HACCP.
