Candidates for Post No.(s) 1, 2 & 3 possessing M.Tech. should be in First Class with
an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale along
with B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg)/M.Sc. in first class with an aggregate of 65% (Average
of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale. For Post No.(s) 1 & 2
M.Sc. in the relevant discipline with 65% marks or above (average of all semesters) or
CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale are also eligible.

The age limit for the post of Scientist/Engineer-SC is 35 years but relaxable by 5 years in case
of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and Persons with
Disabilities (PWD) candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of Indias
rules.
