Flood In The Czech Republic


A flood in the Czech Republic has killed 10 people and injured many. Thousands of houses, shops, towns and cities have been isolated and, in some cases, destroyed. The Czech Republic government has requested 1000 soldiers for assistance with the rescue operation. The Nov Jin District is the worst region affected and its govenor is saying the costs for damage could total up to as much as 10,000,000 US dollars. The Government has said they are going to donate 54,000,000 Kouruna (28,000,000 Euros) to the relief effort.
