If you ever come to Romania, dont hesitate to visit Braila.

Situated on the left bank of the river Danube, Braila is a wonderful city, more than six hundred years old. In the past, the city was a very important commercial harbour as Braila was called the granary of Europe Nowadays, the city is a cultural centre and its a must for the tourists to visit the old centre of the city, which includes many old buildings such as Greek Church, Maria Filotti Theatre, the History Museum, the 19th century Saint Nicholas Church, but also the Public Garden, an oasis of vegetation, perfect to relax and to watch the Danube. The new centre of the town is full of new buildings and it has a complex of fountains of a rare beauty and famous all over Romania. The Small Island of Braila is a very important natural monument for the flora and fauna of the Danube. It is also a natural reservation and we are proud with it.
