Personal Jurisdiction: Two prong test A.

Minimum Contact test - Are there any contacts at all between D and the forum. If no, analysis stops - Contacts must be the result of a purposeful availment - If contact exists, must determine whether it is General or Specific Jurisdiction

Judgment as a Matter of Law Plaintiff has burden of producing evidence at trial in support of her claim. The burden of proof is a simple preponderance of the evidence. If the judge concludes that that the Plaintiffs case is so weak that no jury could find for her, then judge can refuse to send the case to the jury if there is no legitimate doubt as to which side should prevail.
