For all who are hungry, sick, troubled, and alone: Lord, hear our prayer. For a quiet evening and safety this night: Lord, hear our prayer.

DAILY PRAYER FOR ALL SAINTS

OPENING SENTENCES

In the morning
O Lord, open my lips. And my mouth shall proclaim your praise.

At both Morning and Evening Prayer, the Litany continues

Let us now commend ourselves, and all for whom we pray, to the mercy and protection of God.

In the evening
O God, come to our assistance. O Lord, hasten to help us. Glory to the holy and life-giving Trinity, One God: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. Alleluia! Alleluia! ANTIPHON ON THE MORNING PSALM The Lord is glorious in the saints: * O come, let us worship.

Free intercessions may be offered.

Rejoicing with Mary and all the saints, let us entrust ourselves, and one another, and all our lives to Christ our Savior: To you, O Christ our God. Almighty God, you have gathered your people into one communion in the mystical body of your Son. Together with the saints, may we know the joys you have prepared for all who love you, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ALTERNATIVE DISMISSAL Let us bless the Lord. Thanks be to God.

After Psalm 100, this prayer may be said.

Mighty God, from age to age you are faithful to the people you created as your own. Accept the offering of our worship, that every race and nation may enter your courts, praising you in song; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
