Volunteering with the Taylor Reading Corps tutors children in grades K-3 to improve their reading abilities. Volunteers would assist two students for 30 minutes each per week between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to help children and attend regularly. Goal: The goal of the Taylor Reading Corps is to improve the educational outcomes for students in grades K-3 by increasing student reading abilities to grade level or above. How you can help: Assist two students per week for thirty minutes each with reading. When: During the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm any day that is convenient for you. Are you qualified? If you have room in your heart for a child, are dependable, and can regularly attend; you are qualified. We will train you on the rest.
