AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS RECEIVED BY RAGHaVENDRA RATHORE

The State Government of Rajasthan honoured fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore with an award for his contribution in the field of fashion.
The State of Rajasthan recognizes the contribution that Raghavendra Rathore has done in promoting the rich heritage of Rajasthan and its culture. Honouring him on the Independence Day ceremony as an individual who moves on a road map quite different from the generic fashion designer, honorable chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, granted Rathore and his work Government recognition, a first of its kind in the State's history. The designer told us, "Acknowledging the importance of design and its connection with our heritage by the State Government goes to show the intentions that the State has for the future of Rajasthan and its youth. Creating a strong foundation with the current generation is clearly priority and reaching out to professionals in various fields via an acknowledgment of this kind encourages a new thought process which is essential for the future of modern India."
