I have now drifted from earthly touches Shying from the warmth Of a wandering passion Just for the moment I know I have lived in quarters of my own In the closed spaces of a forest Only to find my roots unsoiled With the powers of my conscience I see another side every day and night The side that was unknown Taking one step at a time That a few would dare The snow whispers on the grass as I pass And the Ferns cold leaves have faded But there is enough life still To make a mark and sway 3rd February Zurich 2008 Procyon Mukherjee
