COURSE TITLE: COURSE CODE: COURSE CREDIT: COURSE DESCRIPTION The course studies the socio-cultural and psychological influences of social systems on individual behavior as well as on organizational activities and directions. In particular, it presents the social milieu of organizations and individuals, the theoretical foundations of organizations, as well as the theories of human behavior in organizations. V. COURSE OBJECTIVES At the end of the course, the students are expected to: 1. Determine the sociological principles, concepts, and theories at play in the life at work of any organization as the members interact to fulfill accepted organizational goals and objectives 2. Relate such sociological, cultural and psychological principles, concepts and theories to the organizations group and associate living as well as to everyday individual experiences. 3. Apply the scientific theories and principles of human behavior related to membership in any organization enabling such member to cope with everyday demands and inter-relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers and clients.
