There wus u mun who hud

four sons,
He wunted his sons to Ieurn
not to gudge things too
quickIy,
So he sent them euch on u
questin turnto go und Iook
ut u peur tree thut wus u
greut distunce uwuy,
The first son went in the winter,
the second in the spring,
the third in summer,
and the youngest son in autumn.
hen they hud uII gone und
come buck he cuIIed them
together to describe whut
they hud seen
The first son suid thut the tree wus ugIy bent und twisted,
The second son suid no it wus covered with green buds und fuII of promise,
The third son disugreed; he suid it wus Iuden with bIossoms thut smeIIed so
sweet und Iooked so beuutifuI it wus the most grucefuI thing he hud ever
seen,
The Iust son disugreed with uII of them; he suid it wus ripe und
drooping with fruit fuII of Iife und fuIfiIment,
The man then explained to his sons that they were all partly right,
because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
e told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season,
and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that
come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons
are up.
f you give up when it's winter,
you will miss the promise of your
spring, the beauty of your summer
and the fulfilment of your autumn.
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
!ersevere through the difficult patches
and better times are sure to come
some time.
