A Statement from Wofford College Republicans Regarding the National Debate
November 12, 2011:
'WoIIord College Republicans is pleased to welcome each oI the eight candidates and their campaign
staIIs, members oI the press, dignitaries and voters to WoIIord College.
We are excited to be a part oI such an important moment in our nation`s political process and we hope that
each American will take this opportunity to listen to each candidate careIully in order to make an inIormed
decision. It is clear that we need a new President; our current leader isn`t doing enough to revitalize our
economy, strengthen our deIenses and secure our boarder. We encourage every voter to use this debate as
an opportunity to Iind the best candidate to deIeat President Obama in November 2012 and lead our
country back on a path to prosperity.
WoIIord College Republicans remains committed to making Barack Obama a one-term President and
remains dedicated to advancing the causes oI Ireedom not only in Spartanburg County but across the
nation.
We would also like to thank the Iaculty, staII and students here at WoIIord, the South Carolina Republican
Party, CBS News, the National Journal and everyone else involved in this tremendous undertaking. Each oI
these entities did their part to make this the best debate yet.
