A Statement from Wofford College Republicans Following the CBS/National 1ournal Debate
ovember 12, 2011:
'AIter watching the debate, it is clear that any oI the candidates on the stage tonight would make a
better leader than our current President. Each candidate had his or her moment in the spotlight and
each stood out Ior diIIerent reasons. WoIIord College Republicans hopes that Republican voters
across the country will use what they have seen and heard Irom WoIIord tonight to make an
inIormed decision in the Republican Primary.
As a group, College Republicans does not endorse candidates during a Primary, but we were
delighted by what we saw Irom each candidate. WoIIord College Republicans remains committed
to making Barack Obama a one-term President and remains dedicated to advancing the causes oI
Ireedom across the nation.
We are honored to be a part oI such an important moment in our nation`s political process as we
go about the process oI selecting a President. Spartanburg County and the state oI South Carolina
will play a huge role in choosing the next President, so it is only appropriate that such an
important debate was held here.
WoIIord College Republicans look Iorward to continuing to play an important part in the
Presidential ominating process.
