1. We need Telephone sets 10,000

. Since Every telephone set is connected to 1 Rosette at a time, thereIore the total Rosette 10,000


. two wire oI %elephone is connected to Rosette which is then connected to the Distribution Pole
(DP).

4. II the distance oI DP and Drop-Wire connected to rosette is 40m then total Drop Wire along
with distance 40m x 10,000 400,000


Since 1 DP supports only 10 Drop-Wires then 10,000 Drop-wires are supported by 1000 DP like
Total DPs 10,000/10 1000 DPs

6 %hese DPs wires are then in Iorm oI secondary cable connected to the cabinet oI 00 capacities.

8 Total Primary cable 10,000+ 2000 12000

For 1,000 primary cable, we need Total Cabinets 12000/300 40 cabinets

%he pair oI primary cable could be 1800,900 or 600. For utilizing 1000 Primary cables we need
the Iollowing pair oI cables
