Negus (An-Najashi)

The ruler of Abyssinia during the time of Prophet (pbuh) Friend of Amr Ibn Al-aas. Gave refuge to Muslims in his country. Lent an ear to the Muslims when the Quraysh accused them of treachery. Was touched by the words of Jafar and the verses of Quran. Understood the connection between Christianity and Islam and gave full support to the refugees.
