TDU Bnk Editor 1.

0 - By Jeffrey ================================ Usage: ================================ Open TDU bnk file View / Extract packed files from it Replace packed files. Save Bnk file. When you extract files from the bnk, a new folder is created with the name of th e bnk file. Extracted files are put into this folder. Eg. If you extract all files in Bnk\Sounds\Vehicles\300_C_audio.bnk, a folder ca lled 300_C_audio will be created in the Bnk\Sounds\Vehicles folder. When the Bnk file is saved, a backup is automatically made, called (filename).ba k. Limitations: ================================ The file size cannot currently be changed. TDU Editor will truncate the replacement file's data This approach works ok for files like wav files (see ome interesting files!), so you can import wav files ng as the new file isnt too much bigger/smaller than dnt be able to notice anything. Oh, and you can only replace one file at a time. Example: ================================ As an example, copy the 350Z_CPE_audio.bnk file in this zip to your TDU folder, under EURO\Bnk\Sounds\Vehicules. Backup the existing file first! The new 350Z_ CPE_audio file contains sounds from the 350Z in GTR2. The sounds were directly copied across, no modification was done to them. Randomness: ================================ One interestingly named file I have seen while browsing is bump_FarCry.2db (in B nk\Level\Hawai\CommonWorld.bnk). (A file ripped from farcry?!) Email jeff@sturm.net.nz with bug reports/cool things youve done with TDU Bnk Edi tor.
