Roper Civics CP, Period 5 21 October 2011 Herman Cain Herman Cain was born on December 13, 1945. He is an American business executive and was a radio host from Georgia. He was African American. Not only was that he the former chairman and CEO of Godfather's Pizza. Not only that but he is the chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Before his business career he worked as an employee of the United States Navy. Cain publicly opposed the Clinton health care plan of 1993. He challenged Bill Clinton on the costs of the employer mandates. Herman ran of the Republican presidential nomination in 2000. In 2004, Herman ran of the U.S. Senate in Georgia and did not win the in the primaries. Now he is considering of running the presidential election of 2012. He made speeches during his nomination of presidential election. He said that if he becomes president he would put on electric fence border between the border of Mexico and USA. The chance of him winning is very slim because during his speech he mentioned that he is going to put up electric fences along the border of Mexico and United States. One thing is that I think he is being racist towards the Latinos and the other thing is that it has the high risk of killing someone by electrocution. Not only that, there is a big population towards the Latinos. Referring to that, I think the Latinos are going to hate Herman for saying that there should be a fence along the border, and they are not going to vote for Herman Cain. Herman should not win the election at all; it would be a very bad idea for him winning the presidential election. Herman lacks the support of the moneyed conservative establishment.
