Discovered Zinc?
A German scientist named Andreas Marggraf discovered Zinc in 1746. Even though some people think that Andreas Marggraf discovered Zinc many historians still believe that ancient people already used Zinc long ago. Nobody really knows if Andreas Marggraf discovered it or did historians use Zinc before Andreas Marggraf discovered it.

What is Zinc in?

Zinc is used in a lot of food and other uses. Some of this food that Zinc is in includes oysters, meat, eggs, seafood, black-eyed peas, tofu, wheat germ, sunscreen, etc.

What is Zinc Used For?

Metallic Zinc is used for a lot of things. Some of these things are dry cell batteries, roof cladding, die-castings, and many useful toys. Some of the things that Zinc Oxide is used for are paints, some rubber products, cosmetics, plastics things, printing inks, soap, etc.

What Does Zinc look like?

Zinc is a very shiny element. Zinc looks very alike to aluminum because aluminum is very shiny and so is zinc. The only differences with aluminum and Zinc is that aluminum is thinner and more flexible than zinc.
