Reflection will occur each night aIter our service-learning experience. This is a time where we will
be able to think deeply about our actions and create more insight and eIIectiveness in the Iuture. It
helps us to Iurther our creative and critical thinking skills and helps prepare us Ior the next step oI
service by allowing us to see the bigger picture.

7oup 1ou7nal starting during our pre-trip meetings is an opportunity Ior us all to write down
anything that we Ieel is worth remembering later. This tends to be a great way oI capturing a moment
and is really touching as well as really Iunny! Copies will later be created and distributed to all
members.
Wa72 & Fuzzies throughout the week each participant will write at least one response to the
other participants. These responses are to share how the other individuals made the trip meaningIul to
you. You will have the opportunity to read these at the end oI the trip while travelling home.
Roses & Tho7ns every night to start oII reIlections is an opportunity Ior each oI us to say one
thing that touched us in a negative way and two things that touched us in a positive way.
Captu7ing will be used in rotation with Roses & Thorns each participant makes a Iace a sound or
movement capturing how they Ielt about the service project.
One Line Poet7 Sla2 three rounds on Monday each participant will be asked to write a sentence
that Iurthers the title 'What this means to you. You will not be able to see what others have written
until it is read out loud to the group. We will do this Ior three rounds.
1enga nah not just Jenga Enhanced Jenga on Tuesday night each Jenga piece will have a thought
provocative question on it.
Whispe7alk will happen on Thursday everyone will be in a circle with their backs Iacing in.
One person on the inside oI the circle will have a question posed to them and will then touch the
shoulders oI two individuals that the question applies to. Such as: 'Who do you admire.
Jft w||| you remember? will be the last reIlection on Friday night WhaL wlll you remember
from Lhls week ln 3 monLhs? ln 3 years? ln 23 years?"
