How do you see the impact of working parents on their family management and parenting?
There are advantages and disadvantages when both parents are working. One oI the
advantages when parents are working is they will trains child to be independent and enhances
cognitive maturity. They will raise independent child. As they are busy working, the child will
learn how to be independent without their parents ask them to do so. So that they will learn early
how to manage their leisure time, spent their money wisely as their parents are not around. Their
child will mature early than other child.
When people know what their responsibility is, they know how to manage it well. It is
also same as Iamily management. As husband know their role as a husband and Iather to the
children, they will know that all their responsibility and what they suppose to do to make sure
they done and manage it well. As example, as husband, they have to make sure their wiIe and
children get a Iull naIkah and love Irom them. As wiIe, they should know what their children
need to be. When both husband and wiIe know their role in the Iamily management, their Iamily
have no problem in terms oI love, money, management and care.
Secondly, when both parents are working, Iinancial constrains in Iamily will be reduced.
As the wiIe working, they can help their husband to buy all expenses and households. In short,
they will have better economic Ioundation. They easily buy their children stuII like school stuII,

school Iees; have a conducive shelter, good Iood Ior them and also their growing child,
transportation Ior works and leisure time with Iamily. Both husband and wiIe will share and
shouldering oI parenting responsibilities when they are working to have a conducive liIe Ior their
child upbringing too.
Thirdly, they will tend to have good quality time management Ior their work and Iamily
especially Ior their children. They will spend their time well to make sure their children have a
good time with them even they are working and spent little time with their parents. Quality is
more important than quantity spent by parents. Parents will manage time wisely as they cannot
combine and mix up their working and Iamily management.
Furthermore, when both husband and wiIe are working, they will spent their money more
towards children education. They will send their children to go to extra tuition classes to make
sure their children able to be an excellent student as they should. Their attention is more towards
their children`s education. They easily pay school Iees, tuition Iees, school stuII, books, and
reIerences as they have enough money. They also will make early step as their children will
Iurther studies as they will save their money Ior their children.

There are disadvantages when parents are working. One oI them is some oI working
parents are neglect their children as they are too busy with their work at the oIIice. Sometimes
they will bring their works home. As it happen, it shows that they lack quality time to child
upbringing. Sometimes their children will have a good and lovely relationship with their maid
rather than their parents. That why children nowadays have a bad reputation in their studies and
liIe as they parents like neglect them as their parent`s attention is more towards job than children.
They Ieel their parents do not love them as other Iamilies. It makes liIe worst when children have
a immoral behavior and have social problem because oI they lack oI parents intention. It shows
some oI working parents have strain in Iamily relationship.
Some oI them may have bad time management because they cannot manage time wisely
between work and Iamily. They tend to go back home late as they should Iinish up their work.
This make them easily tired and cannot spend their time with their children when they are home.
They tend to sleep early and do not know what is going on with their children Ior that day. They

are underestimating the importance oI closeness with Iamily members and time sharing even
they are an excellent worker. They think that vacation once per month or once per year is enough
to make them as excellent parents. With all their money spent Ior their children, they think it is
enough to make sure their children Ieel that they are love and concern the children well. Some
parents are like that. They think what they have done Ior their children is already enough. It is a
bad estimating because a good parents is when they did not Ieel satisIaction iI it is about their
children welIare. They will try their best every day to make sure their children be a good man in
the Iuture, know what is good and bad Ior them and advice them how to be an excellent people in
Dunya and HereaIter.
Last but not least, working parents will tend to have a bad in Iamily communication.
They do not know how to leisurely speak to their spouse and and also their children. They are
too stress with work that makes them Ieel awkward when they go back home.
In conclusion, Irom my opinion, there are advantages and disadvantages when parents are
working. A good Iamily comes Irom a responsible people. When people know their
responsibilities, they will know how to manage the institution well.
