Update from the State Megan Olds, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, is serving on the States Complete Streets Advisory Council. Shell give a brief update on the efforts and status of the Advisory Council. Q&A welcome. (10 mins) 3. Traverse City Corridor Improvement Plan Russ Soyring, City of Traverse City, will update the group on the Citys Corridor Improvement Plan. The Plan will address five pirmary corridors in the City while using Eighth Street as a model for the effort. Q&A welcome. (20 mins) 4. Updates from Others: Whats Happening with Complete Streets in Your Neighborhood? Chance to catch up and learn from each other about opportunities and obstacles youve encountered with regards to Complete Streets. (10 mins) 5. Future Meetings: Set Future Meeting Topics and Dates

The design of a street is only one aspect of its effectiveness. How the street fits within the surrounding transportation network and supports adjacent land uses will also be important to its effectiveness.
