Student-Led Conference Goals

Student-led conferences empower children to present their work to their parents and be proud of their accomplishments. Students are responsible for choices regarding quality, quantity, and progress. The conference provides very special quality time between children and parents. It is a priceless experience and one Im sure both students and parents will treasure much longer than a regular parent-teacher conference. Goals for Teacher To help students be accountable for the quality of work they do in school and provide encouragement to promote progress in academic skills. Goals for Student To accept responsibility for work they are doing at school and to be able to communicate the level and progress of work to teacher and parents. Goals for Parent To be aware and be accepting of students developmental levels and provide positive support to encourage personal growth in child.
