Bronchodilator Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in patients with obstructive airway disease.

Nebulization with 2cc of PNSS/Q4

Restlessness, headache, vomiting, nausea

Nursing Responsibilities Check IV site carefully for signs of thrombosis or drug reaction. Watch out for signs of allergic reactions, unusual bleeding or bruising, diarrhea and difficulty breathing. Administer the meds as prescribed on full stomach. Clear nasal passages and throat Perform nebulization correctly Advise mother of patient not to feed the baby after

nebulization. Wait 30 minutes before feeding.
