INTRODUCTION

Color the visual perception of light in a different manner completely indescribable through words. Since the beginning of time, people have been able to experience color but not in a distinctive form that allows them to back it up with science, instead, color was described as an innate part of every person, and without it we wouldnt be able to tell things apart. Color theory is the study of colors along with their coming to be, and their ability to work alongside other colors. It embodies mixtures of colors, and the impaction of color combinations in achromatic, monochromatic, polychromatic, analogous, complementary, neutral, and several other manners. The class placed an emphasis on design work and how colors may appeal to people through advertisement, another segment in design, and several other principles that may be used in the graphic design world, as well as the world of art as a whole. This color diary represents the study period of a semester long class and the color studies of several assignments in class, and outside of class, independent of directions, and dependent on directions alike. Taken from a student who once lived only in an achromatic world, this color class has come to represent the starting point of a prospective graphic designer, who has come to love color for its simplicity, and tradition, its combinations, and impactions.
