Steps to Determine CPM

- Build the Network (AON)
-Put in all precedence relationships
- Calculate each Activities EST, LST,
EFT, LFT
-Work forward and backward
- Determine slack times
- Determine Critical Path
-Activities with no slack are critical

Calculate EST/EFT
- Go thru chains to see where
longest - use EFT

Calculate LST / LFT
- Work backwards from 21 days on
each activity
Calculate Slack
- Slack = LST - EST or LFT - EFT
- Critical activities - slack = 0
