Process Preface The radical revision project was the most entertaining for me because I love poetry and I was introduced to a new way of writing it. I had great time doing the activity where we circled strong words from our essay and turned it into a poem. I made specific revisions to my sentences to give the poem a better flow, for example, the first discovery draft I wrote says until I got a journal, started writing couldnt stop. My second draft says too many feelings, about to explode. Help! Journal. Started writing could not stop. My final draft says Too many feelings, About to explode. Help! Write, she said, Write, I did. Could not stop, Words kept flowing. Emotions rising Relief. This shows the improvement I made to my sentences and how I have become a better editor. I also decided to capitalize certain letters if I felt the word was strong and meaningful such as Privileged, Devastation, and Frustration. This project really opened my eyes to how creative the writing process can be. The most challenging part about this project was writing poetry in a new way. I have written poetry for a long time and I have my own way of doing it. This activity helped me step out of my comfort zone and made me realize that there are several different ways to approach a project. I will use the radical revision project in my future papers, or I might explore turning poetry into a paper.
