Directions: This is a PowerPoint (you are encouraged to use GoogleDoc, but not keynote!) or prezi project that in total should not amount to more than a five-minute presentation. If you go over, I will cut you off as we must hear from everyone within one class period. Your presentations will take place in class on Wednesday, December 14th. Your project should: Be titled and include the names of your group members. Feature concise bullets. They should not be lengthy, but indicate a reference to what you will be speaking about out loud (rule of six). Include visuals that illustrate your topic. Have a bibliography on your last slidean alphabetized list of sources following MLA citation format. Use your handout, website and see me with any questions! You must have a minimum of one book and two websites. You will be graded on: Participation and effort invested in the groups work. Oral speaking skills as we have practiced; posture, composure, annunciation, projection etc. Knowledge of topic and ability to answer questions. The visual appeal and content of your power point projectdoes it cover the material? Is it easy to navigate and read? Does it supplement your delivery? Citation. Diversity of sources used and proper acknowledgement of them staying true to MLA guidelines. You might have a little class time Monday to work on this, however, please arrange time out of class to meet with your group ASAP!
