The relationship between language and culture is deeply rooted.

Language is used to maintain and convey culture and culture ties. Different ideas stem from differing language use in ones culture and the whole intertwining of these relationships star at ones birth.

For example in Indian languages,such at Nootka or Hopi do not have parts of speech or separate subject and predicate. Rather they signify an event as a whole. When we say a light flashed.Hopi uses a singel term flash (occurred).

Describing how people in various parts of thw world refer to brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, and so on. Kinship systems are universal feature or language, because kinship is so important in social organization. For example, some language have no-word equivalent to cousin,because different terms refer to mothers sisters children and to fathers sisters children.

Color terminology has also been used to explore the relationships between different language and culture. The color spectrum is a physical continuum showing no bteaks at all. Taboo words are those that are considered in bad taste by some people or that are better to be avoided because they mention realities that are stark and vulgar. Examples of taboo : fuck,piss,die,etc A euphemism is the replacement of a taboo expression by another that is not coarse. Euphemism try to conceal the reality that lies behind. Instead of fuck,we use make love,etc.
