MODELLING AND ANALYSIS OF FIXED SPEED GRID CONNECTED WECS

GUIDE: Mr. T. MAHESH M.E., (Ph.d) STUDENT NAME: R. RAMYAKRISHNA

This project presents the modeling and simulation of a grid connected fixed speed wind energy conversion system using MATLAB, a widely used Simulation tool Matrix Laboratory. Component models and equations are addressed and their incorporation into MATLAB is provided. The component models are constructed by using user-define functions provided in the simulation program. This modeling work is mainly employed to analyze the performance of fixed speed wind power system.

ANALYSIS OF HIGH SPEED SWITCHED RELUCTANCE GENERATOR GUIDE: MS. S. SANDHYA M.E., STUDENT NAME: N.B. KAVITHA

This project presents the Analysis of performance of Switched Reluctance Generator for various phases using MATLAB, a widely used simulation tool. Component models are addressed and their incorporation into the MATLAB is provided. From the analysis of simulation results the performance of four phase SRG is better when compared to the other two.

reluctance generator for various types of converter. The converter used for analysis is Asymmetric half bridge converter, New converter, Multi level converter. The simulation process is carried out for each of these three converters by using MATLAB. On basis of the analysis of simulation results, the performance of SRG is better with Multi level converter when compare to the other two and it suits best for better performance of SRG
