    - Lester william polsfuss known as Les Paul was born in wisconsin, Unined states in June 9, 1915. -Les Paul was a american jazz guitarist. - At 13, Les Paul was semiprofessional guitarist in country music. - In 1948 Les Paul suffered a nearly fatal automobile accident in Oklahoma, where his arm was injured - He died on August 13, 2009 in the "White Plains Hospital" in NewYork due to complications with pneumonia.

    - Its the world's most famous instrument.

    - Its a wooden string instrument that convert string vibrations into electrical signals can be amplified.
    - The most famous brands are: Gibson, Fender, Jackson, ESP, Ibanez, Rickenbacker. -Some playing techniques are: _Tapping, in which both hands are applied to the fretboard.
